【Main Ingredients】 Maduramycin, nicarbazin.
【Characteristics】 Yellow to yellow-brown powder or granules.
[Pharmacological Actions] Compound anticoccidial drug.
Maduramicin ammonium exhibits a broad spectrum of activity against coccidia, demonstrating high efficacy against Eimeria species such as E. tenella, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. brunetti, and E. acervulina. Its mechanism of action involves disrupting the sporozoite and first-generation schizont stages of coccidian development, thereby not only inhibiting parasite growth but also killing the parasites.
Nicarbazin exhibits excellent efficacy in the prevention and control of multiple species of Eimeria coccidia in chickens. It primarily inhibits the growth and reproduction of schizonts during the second asexual multiplication stage, with peak activity occurring on the fourth day post-infection.
[Functions and Uses] An anticoccidial drug. Used for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in chickens.
【Usage and Dosage】 Based on this product. Mixed feeding: 500 g per 1,000 kg of feed for chickens. Use continuously for 5–7 days.
[Adverse Reactions]
(1) During hot weather, use of this product may induce heat stress and even result in mortality.
(2) The main active ingredient of this product, nicarbazin, has a certain impact on the quality of eggs produced by laying hens and on hatchability.
[Precautions]
(1) Prohibited during the laying period of egg-laying hens.
(2) The main active ingredient of this product, maduramicin, exhibits high toxicity and a narrow safety margin; even at a dietary concentration of 7 mg/kg, it can induce poisoning or even death in chickens. Therefore, overdosing should be avoided.
(3) Use with caution during hot weather.
