【Characteristics】 This product is a off-white powder.
[Pharmacological Actions] Antiparasitic drug.
Albendazole exhibits broad-spectrum anthelmintic activity, effectively killing nematodes, cestodes, and trematodes. Its mechanism of action involves binding to tubulin in the parasite, thereby inhibiting the polymerization of α‑tubulin into microtubules and disrupting cellular processes essential for reproduction, such as mitosis, protein assembly, and energy metabolism.
Ivermectin exhibits potent anthelmintic and acaricidal activity against both ectoparasites and endoparasites, particularly arthropod parasites and nematodes. It is primarily used to control gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, and external parasites in pigs. Its mechanism of action involves enhancing the release of γ‑aminobutyric acid (GABA) from presynaptic neurons, thereby opening GABA‑gated chloride ion channels. The resulting chloride ion influx reduces membrane resistance and induces a slight depolarization of the postsynaptic membrane potential, disrupting neuromuscular transmission. This leads to flaccid paralysis of the parasite, ultimately resulting in its death or expulsion from the host.

【Usage and Dosage】 Based on this product. Mixed feeding: 1,000 g per 1,000 kg of feed for pigs.
[Adverse Reactions] The active ingredient of this product, albendazole, has teratogenic effects.
[Precautions]
(1) Use with caution during the first 45 days of gestation in sows.
(2) Ivermectin is highly toxic to shrimp, fish, and aquatic organisms; packaging and containers containing residual product must not contaminate water sources.
