【Characteristics】 This product is a yellow powder.
[Pharmacological Actions]
Pharmacology Anticoccidial agent. This product exhibits excellent preventive and therapeutic efficacy against multiple species of Eimeria in chickens, including E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. maxima, E. brunetti, E. acervulina, and E. mitis. It primarily inhibits the growth and reproduction of schizonts during the second asexual multiplication phase, with peak efficacy occurring on the fourth day post‑infection. It is mainly used to treat coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys. Coccidia rarely develop resistance to this compound, making it a common choice when switching treatment regimens. Moreover, nicarbazin remains effective against coccidia that are resistant to other anticoccidial agents. However, nicarbazin can have some adverse effects on egg quality and hatchability.
Pharmacodynamics This product is absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract and distributes widely into body tissues and body fluids. When administered to chickens at the recommended dose for 11 days, residues of the drug can still be detected in blood and edible tissues two days after withdrawal of the medication.

【Usage and Dosage】 Calculated on the basis of nicarbazin. Mixed into feed: 100–125 g per 1,000 kg of feed for chickens.
[Adverse Reactions]
(1) During the high-temperature summer season, use of this product may increase stress and mortality.
(2) This product can reduce egg production rate, fertilization rate, and egg quality, and cause the color of brown eggshells to become lighter.
[Precautions]
(1) Use with caution during the hot summer months.
(2) Prohibited for use in laying hens and breeding chickens.
(3) Do not use for treatment during an outbreak of coccidiosis in chickens.
(4) May be used in commercial feed and during the farming process.
