[Veterinary Drug Name]
Common Name: Dinitro-ortho-cresol Premix
Product Name: Kerun Qiu Lining
English Name: Dinitolmide Premix
Pinyin: Erxiaotuo’an Yuhunji
[Main Ingredients] Dinitrotamine
[Pharmacological Actions]
The peak of nitrotriamide’s anticoccidial activity occurs on the third day post‑infection, and it also inhibits sporulation of oocysts. It is primarily used to treat coccidiosis in chickens, turkeys, and rabbits. At the recommended dosage, it does not impair the development of immunity to coccidia in chickens, making it suitable for layer breeds and broiler breeders. Reports indicate that continuous administration for six days exerts only an inhibitory effect on coccidia, whereas prolonged use may result in a lethal action against the parasite.
Following oral administration of dinitrocarbanilide to chickens, the compound is rapidly metabolized in the body, and muscle residues fall below 100 μg/kg within 24 hours after withdrawal of the drug.
[Functions and Uses] A dinitro compound antiprotozoal agent. Used for coccidiosis in chickens.
【Usage and Dosage】 Based on this product. Mixed feeding: 500 g per 1,000 kg of feed for chickens.
[Adverse Reactions] No adverse reactions have been observed when used as directed.
[Precautions]
(1) May be used in commercial feed and during the farming process.
(2) Chickens raised for egg production intended for human consumption shall not be used during the laying period.
(3) Premature discontinuation of the drug often leads to a recurrence of coccidiosis; therefore, broilers should receive continuous treatment.
(4) The particle size of dinitroterphenylamine powder affects its anticoccidial activity; it should be an extremely fine powder.
(5) When the addition level in feed exceeds 250 mg/kg (expressed as dinitrocarbanilide), continuous feeding for more than 15 days may inhibit weight gain in broiler chicks.
[Withdrawal Period] Chicken for 3 days.
