The inaugural meeting of the Kerun Party Branch commenced to the solemn strains of the national anthem. In accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China and the Provisional Regulations on Electoral Work of Primary-Level Party Organizations, the meeting was conducted in strict compliance with established electoral procedures. The meeting reviewed and approved the “Draft Measures for the Election at the Congress of Party Members of the Party Branch of Guangdong Kerun Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.” It then proceeded to elect, by secret ballot, Comrade Qian Yuehua as the first secretary of the Kerun Pharmaceutical Company’s Party Branch and Comrade Liu Shan as the deputy secretary.
